Due to processing errors several files on the FTP site were not updated during dbSNP Build 135 release last week (November 3, 2011).    

1)    Human SQL schema now updated to dbSNP Build 135.  
        At the release of B135, the schema was still based on dbSNP Build 134. The schema on the FTP site has now been synchronized with the Build 135 human SQL tables. See Schema:

This schema update is only for human.     

2)	The following files by chromosome have been updated since dbSNP Build 135 FTP Release (November  3, 2011) and should be downloaded again.

A) At the release of B135 last week, the 'RS Not on Chromosome' (*rs_chNotOn.*)  did not correspond to B135, but are now updated 

B) Chr1 and Chr11 files were updated to fixed minor data inconsistencies.

The affected files above should be downloaded again if you originally downloaded them between last Thursday (November 3, 2011) and yesterday (November 7, 2011).   Other files in the same directory as those listed above were refreshed for this update, and will have a time stamp that is more recent than November 3, 2011 , but these files do not need to be reloaded.  We apologize for the inconvenience that these errors might have caused, and as we realize that you rely on us to provide accurate data, we are implementing additional QA steps for future dbSNP build releases to insure that these errors do not occur again.
